Christmas in Doha 2015 – Tips
- It is vital you book in advance as soon as possible, as venues do get booked out quickly.
- In Qatar the 24th December is usually treated as a ‘dry’ day out of respect for local customs. If you are booking a Christmas Eve Buffet or Meal, be sure to double-check if this is a concern for you.
- Some venues ask for full payment in advance – if you want to book your slot then make sure you know their booking policy. Also make sure you confirm all booking details, including prices and timings, via email in case of complications later.
- If you have any dietary requirements or allergies make sure you discuss this with the venue. Some may be able to accommodate you if you contact them in advance.
- It it important that you check dates, locations and timings of events as venues may make last minute changes.
A Doha Turkey Dinner Takeaway – Tips
- If you order your Turkey for Christmas at home, then be aware of the order policy at your chosen vendor. Advance booking may require anything from 24 hours to 72 hours minimum notice. However, most vendors require 48 hours a least. If possible, order early to ensure your Turkey Dinner is ready for Chrismas Day.
- Most venues require bookings for takeaway turkeys to be paid fully in advance, so be sure to double-check all the conditions for this service. If you order by email or fax expect an order confirmation reply – if you don’t receive one promptly then follow up by calling the venue.
- Make sure to check with your diners to see if they have any allergies or dietary requirements that you would have to take into consideration when placing your Thanksgiving Turkey order.
- Make sure to order the correct weight of turkey based on the number of expected diners, and don’t forget to consider what the venue will provide if you do choose the ‘with trimmings’ option.
- Will you be ordering your sides – if so double-check whether sides are included with the turkey order, and what exactly is offered. If you order extra sides make sure to ask for full pricings and measurements so you know exactly how much you are spending. Venues will have different offerings for side dishes, and the prices for the amount by weight of side dishes will also differ.
- Write down all your order details and be sure to note down where to collect your Takeaway Turkey Dinner from and at what time. Keep the venue contact details with you so you can keep them updated if you are going to be late. Always ask for an email verification of your order with detailed costings.
- Most vendors expect you to pick up your Turkey Takeaway order. Although, some may offer delivery so check if that is something that is important to you. If you collect your Christmas roasted turkey order make sure to transport food carefully – remember food safety.
- Turkey Takeaways are available from different dates so that you can celebrate the holiday season with friends and family a the time most convenient for you. Some vendors provide a Turkey-To-Go service from now until the first week of January. Make sure to check the dates so that you can book according to your preference.
