Nobu does Afternoon Tea

Nobody saw it coming, but its official Nobu has introduced Afternoon Tea!

Afternoon Tea is big business across the world. The concept of eating a light meal between lunch and dinner was introduced by the British in the 19th century, and soon spread globally.

It was served around 4:oopm with delicate sandwiches, scones, and mini pastries on the menu. Over the years it has elevated into a luxury dining experience with bespoke menus featuring sophisticated ingredients and quality beverages.

Nobu Afternoon Tea

In Doha the Afternoon Tea promotions are popular across the foodie community. Although everyone has their favourite venues for Afternoon Tea, with Nobu joining the scene all bets are off!

Expectations will be high as Nobu presents its Far-Eastern version of Afternoon Tea. Diners can choose between two set menus, and can expect a variety of savoury (Umami) and sweet (Okashi) items.

Menu items feature mini version of some of the best hits from the main dinner menu such as the black cod, or the nobu sliders. Sweets include Gogi berry Madeleine, Matcha canalé, and mini scones served with shiso jam and honey tofu creme.

A selection of beverages will be available to order including artisan Indonesian tea, coffee, mocktails, and speciality matcha hot drinks priced from QAR 40.

Nobu Afternoon Tea will be available from 3:30 until 6:00pm every Saturday at the White Pearl Lounge.

It is priced at QAR 195 for the Classic Tea Set with a choice of one Ikaati tea or coffee. The Sparkling Tea Set is priced at QAR 240 and includes a glass of rosé or mocktail, and one Ikaati tea or coffee. Both sets are inclusive of Nobu “Matcha” tea. You can check out the full menu below!
