As a pastry artisan Chef Thomas Lui works his culinary magic at world-renowned Thomas Trillion. He has been specially invited to Qatar by Sheraton Grand to create the perfect patisserie masterpiece.
Chef Thomas has been carefully constructing his masterpiece, which will take 10 days to construct. It will be publicly unveiled on Monday 12th March in Sheraton’s Lobby. Members of the public and interested culinary professionals are invited to watch the unveiling and take a closer look at his unique peacock-inspired structure.

UPDATE: The Final Reveal of the Thomas Trillion Cake Masterpiece!
Here is the 4 tier cake inside a half golden egg, with the beautifully embellished peacock resting on top of the egg.
The final ‘peacock’ cake was valued at QAR10,000 and comprised of:
- 25kg of premium chocolate from France,
- 86 Swarovski Crystals,
- 90 locllay-sourced pearls,
- and 620 gold and silver edible feathers!
