Al Hazm Mall: Where To Eat

The marble monolith that is known as Al Hazm Mall had a soft opening earlier this month in order to showcase the Mall to Qatar and beyond. The luxury retail destination is situated in Markhiya and provides visitors with jaw-dropping views of Westbay from its high ‘hilltop’ location.

It has been designed to reflect classical architecture with European influences with grand marble pillars, and water features, and hundred year old olive trees. The unique construction materials, including veined marble, has been imported from around the world.

The main structure is known as Galleria, which has an amazing glass-domed roof within its central atrium. There are six other buildings called Onyx, Siena, Calacatta, Thassos, Travertin, and Arabescato.

Currently Al Hazm Mall has only opened its courtyard, the Piazza, to the public from 5:00pm. Visitors cannot access the internal buildings yet, and there are also no retail stores open. There are a few cafe outlets that are open and serving food.

Al Hazm Restaurants

The following restaurants and eateries are expected to open once Al Hazm Mall is fully operational:

Currently no retail stores are open, and a limited number of cafes are open in the Piazza courtyard area offering light snacks and drinks. However, a few more cafes are expected to open soon.

The only places open so far are the following cafes (May 2017):

L’Aprem Cafe

L’Aprem Cafe has an Afternoon Tea menu at QAR120 per 2 persons.

Bolulu Hasan Usta

L’eto Cafe

Is it worth a visit?

Yes, especially in the cooler periods of the evening. The architecture is magnificent, and it makes for a perfect stroll with your loved ones.

You are treated to some amazing views across Westbay and Doha, and the marble and water features help to provide a cooler environment. It also looks magical in the evening when the lights are switched on.
