There are plenty of pink-themed events happening this month due to Pink October, and food is central to many of them.

But first a vital public service announcement…

Pink October was initiated internationally to create awareness about breast cancer. We want to highlight a fantastic screening service arranged by the Screen For Life project who have screening units at Al Wakra, Leabaib, and Rawadat Al Khail.

If breast cancer is caught at an early stage there is an almost 100% survival rate. As such regular mammograms are important especially for women over the age of 45.

Pink October Events & Promotions

During Pink October month there will many events and activities to raise money for charity and to create awareness. It’s also an excuse for pink-themed food!

Here are a few foodie highlights going on this month:

Four Seasons Hotel Doha

Throughout the month of October you can enjoy Pinktober Afternoon Tea at Seasons Tea Lounge and Nobu. The hotel will also offer pink-themed beverages at Elements and Nobu. A portion of proceeds will go to Qatar Cancer Society. Afternoon Tea menus are available from QAR 195 per person.

There are plenty of Pink events at InterContinental Doha The City who are keen to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and the Screen for Life initiative. During October they have a Pink Afternoon Tea at the Lobby Lounge, and a Pink Brunch at The Square restaurant.

It’s a weekly Friday Pink Brunch at Azraq Restaurant during Pink October, with a donation going to Qatar Cancer Society for every brunch diner. Available during Friday Brunch 1:00pm until 4:00pm; priced at QAR 300 per adult (QAR 175 per child) – includes boat transfer.
