The Festival is Qatar’s longest-running food and beverage event and will celebrate it’s tenth anniversary this year. Organisers have promised that there will be exciting new additions to the food festival to mark the occasion.

Open to residents and visitors of all ages, the festival has traditionally been a free non-ticketed event, showcasing everything to do with food from flavours to culinary trends. The event will have food stalss operated by hotels, restaurants, and local food businesses.

Over the past ten years, QIFF has supported and contributed to the country’s dining scene. It has done so by providing a platform for local food vendors and restaurants, as well as inviting and hosting acclaimed international chefs. Last year’s edition attracted more than 400,000 visitors.

This year, residents and visitors from all over the world attending QIFF will get a chance to explore the sustainable and landscaped Oxygen Park, also known as the ‘green lungs of Education City’. Visitors will also be able to make use of the other facilities within the area such as Qatar National Library, Education City Mosque (the Minaretein building), the Qur’anic Botanic Garden, and the artisan Torba Farmers Market.

As part of their commitment to support local business, the organisers have dedicated 15% of the food stalls to talented entrepreneurs and local small and medium-sized businesses. QIFF is a spectacular event for food businesses to introduce their food and beverage offerings to the market.
